Air Duct Cleaning

We have a tried-and-true process for cleaning your air ducts to ensure a clean airflow through your system. We have both vacuum and agitation so the dust doesn’t go into the home and your ducts are protected.

The first thing we do is take down the vent covers and clean them. Then we put a foam block material up in the vents to block them off. There are two reasons for this. One is to create a vacuum, and the other is to prevent the dust from going out into your home. Next we hook up the vacuum system to the plenum or the first vent and turn it on. This puts the duct system under a vacuum.

However, vacuuming alone is not enough to clean your ducts. You also need safe agitation. Our agitation system resembles a ping pong ball with holes in it on a flexible line run by compressed air. We start at the back of the house and go into each vent one at a time moving forward. When we put the ball in the duct, the compressed air makes the ball gently agitate against the sides to knock the dust off. At the same time, the compressed air makes the ball move forward blowing the dust and dirt forward! Through this process we are able to move everything from the back to the front so that it all gets trapped in the vacuum. Then it is filtered through 3 levels of filtration all the way down to a HEPPA filter. At that point the air is clean.
